Am I doing this right?
Hello readers. However it is you’ve found yourself here, welcome.
Let’s start with the big question. Why make a blog? I’m sure there’s plenty of good reasons out there, but unfortunately I only have my own.
While this is a good place to post news, updates on the goings-on over here, my various manifestos, and any relevant news, that’s not all I want this to be. Are you an aspiring author? Do you just want to get a glimpse behind the curtain on the creation of horror fiction? Well, here I intend to do my small part in making that a reality.
If you’ve ever watched the behind-the-scenes of a film, or listened to a directors commentary, then you’ll understand what this is. This comes from my almost obsessive need to break down, analyze, and understand the choices and craft that go into the creation of stories. I figured since these thoughts find a way into my head anyways, I might as well scream them into the void of the internet. So, expect to see posts reflecting on my work, general concepts relating to writing, and any ponderings relevant to the topics at hand. Who knows, maybe someone will find them interesting. If not, screaming into the void is still a good pastime.
